On the Ground:

Check-in was nice, friendly staff.
Gate was a desaster. Flight was not shown on screens. No boarding announcement was made and there was no priority boarding.

Inflight:
The seats are really comfortable. The carpet on the airplane was worn out and really dirty. There was a welcome drink prior departure.
After take off a nice presented hot-meal was served.
There was no drink service in business class except the 100ml water on the tray and coffee.
Lavatory was stinky no paper handtowels,

Cabin Crew was not really motivated or doing anything extra. They were in the cabin once during service and for the rest of the flight hidden in the galley. There was no passion in what they do it was simply a must.
Announcements from the Cabin Crew could not been understood as way to fast.
Announcement from flightdeck was way to loud but at least 2 sentences were said in English.

The electronic system in each seatback has been switched off and disabled. It is covered now with the seatcover.
Nevertheless the massive election box was left under the seat and takes half of the legroom

Will see how my return flight is.... but there might definitely be other options with other carriers to try in India. The only plus Air India has is the big network.

In my eyes there were many many Star Alliance Standards not followed or even done.
