On the Ground:
I checked in online the day before and as it was a one night business trip, I had no bag to be checked.
I arrived 1 hour 15 minutes prior departure at the airport.
The Security Check was no problem at all. It was the early morning rush hour at the airport but waiting times were not even 5 minutes.
Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful.
As I still had enough time, i visited the Swiss Alpine Lounge for a coffee and little quick breakfast.
It is one of the nicest and best lounges of Swiss as it is not overcrowded and has enough seating space.
The F&B product was very good. A nice buffet with cold items, a live cooking station where you could order your freshly prepared egg dishes. Food was very delicious and the staff also here was simply amazing and welcoming.
I arrived 5 minutes prior the indictated boarding time at the gate. Boarding started about 10 minutes after the indicated time. Priority boarding was conducted.
At the aircraft door we were greeted by the senior cabin crew member.
The crew was present in the cabin whilst boarding but I think they have forgotten their smiles and friendliness in the crew hotel where they stayed overnight.
Inflight:
The Airbus A320 has a 3/3 seating configuration. I was lucky, that th the middle seat remained empty. The legroom is okay for a short haul aircraft but the seat itself was a disaster. My seat unfortunately was completely worn out and I was sitting on pure metal.

Announcement from the cockpit and cabin crew were good and understandable. Both spoke slowly and clearly.

Austrian Airlines has even further reduced the minimalistic inflight service from the Lufthansa Group, which apparently was introduced on multiple customer demand.
With Swiss and Lufthansa at least you get a little water bottle of 3dl water. With Austrian Airlines you get a cup with 1dl.
And as with all Lufthansa Group Airlines you also get a small chocolate with Austrian.
I was very surprised, when the crew contacted me and when they told me, that Austrian Airlines currently has a promotion and is inviting its Miles&More Senator Guests to a Snack or drink.
I gladly choose a coffee. Thank you for that Austrian Airlines.
The cabin crew was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary. No smiles, no friendliness, they simply were on board and had to do their work.
No passion, no customer interaction no engagement, nothing.
The Austrian Airlines Airbus A320 has no entertainment system at all.
WiFi would have been available on this flight but with only around 30 minutes cruising time I didn't try it.
The crew informed the passengers via announcement that the forward lavatory was out of service and that all passengers should use the two lavatories at the rear of the cabin.
Also one of the rear lavatories was broken and the toilet flushed constantly.
All in all a okay flight with Austrian Airlines.
Ground product at the airport was very good. The Inflight service is the lowest from the legacy carriers of the Lufthansa Group.
