On the Ground:
The check-in in Siem Reap was friendly and very precise in procedures. We had one bag each to be checked. No waiting times at check-in.
No queues at the security check point.

Bangkok Airways offers all passengers Lounge entry into their own lounges.
The lounge in Siem Reap is almost brand new and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The lounge in Bangkok was super overcrowded and no sitting space available. The choice of food and drinks is good.

Gate staff was friendly in Siem Reap whilst the staff in Bangkok was a disaster. Super unfriendly, stressed und grumpy.
At both airports the boarding started right on time. Priority boarding was conducted.

Inflight:
The seats are in a 3/3 seating configuration.
The legroom on the Airbus 320 & 319 is super low cost airline style. A regular caucasian has no chance to place his legs. More confusing was that on the ATR72 turbo prop was more legroom!!!
Legroom is not at all Boutique!

After take off on the Siem Reap flight a small cold breakfast was served on a tray which was almost unbelievable for a 50 minutes flight.
On the Koh Samui flight a hot meal was served, for a 55min flight! Unfortunately it was a super stinky fish and it tasted, let's say it nicely... Not eatable.
On these 2 flights the food was not good. Bangkok Airways would do better to decrease the amount of food but serve better quality instead. Quality comes before quantity.
As drinks only tea and coffee were served along with the water on the tray. No soft drinks or juice available on the Siem Reap flight.
On the Samui Flight there was the water bottle on the tray and orange cup service. Orange Juice was pure concentrate. Tea and Coffee followed.
The service itself was sooo hectic as the crew is basically running through the cabin and you get pity with them.

The cabin crew working the flight was nice and helpful on the Siem Reap sector.
The crew on the Koh Samui flight was nice but stressed and worked like robots. No interaction with the passengers. No smiles from none of the staff.

No inflight entertainment system.
No WiFi available.

All in all ok flights but not necessarily to repeat. If there is competition from other carrier's on the same route (Thai Airways, Thai Smile, NOK Scoot etc) I would choose the one with the better options.
Bangkok Airways on these 2 flights seemed more like a low coster.
