On the Ground:
We booked a premium / business class ticket on Lift so everything is included in the fare.
This includes a dedicated premium class check-in, priority security, priority boarding and baggage handling and lots of free bags. Lift also includes the lounge in its premium fare.

The check-in agent was super friendly and helpful. He chatted with us all the time and the process was done in no time. They had two priority counters open and there was no queue for check-in.

There was also no queue at the priority security screening at the domestic part at JNB Airport. The staff was super friendly.

The Slow lounge at the domestic part of the airport is included in the premium fare. The lounge itself is very modern and they offer a nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as a great food variety. The buffet looked amazing.
The only downside at this lounge was how crowded, loud and full it was.
Indicated boarding time was 15:30. We were at the gate at 15:32 and almost the entire crowd was already boarded.
So we can not tell if a priority boarding was conducted. Everyone was boarded into the jetbridge and we had to wait there until we were able to board the aircraft.

Staff was much better at all touch points than on the last flights with FlySafair.

At the aircraft door we were greeted by two cabin crew members. Both were super friendly, smiling and helpful.

Inflight:
The Boeing 737-300 of African Charter Airline operating for Lift has a real Business Class.
The first two rows are in a 2/2 configuration offering 8 business class seats.
The seats were super comfortable and the legrest was very good.
Once everyone was boarded, the crew offered some still and sparkling water bottles as welcome drinks.
Once airborne, the crew started with the Inflight service.
In Lift premium a snack adapted to the time of the day is included as well as all drinks.
Today we were offered some Gnocchi and a dessert and I choose a Gin Tonic along my meal. A hot item on a 50 minutes hop is absolutely amazing and the quality of the food was super delicious and fresh.
Also the drinks are made with premium products.
Simply wow for such an inflight service.

The crew on this flight was super attentive, friendly and offered a great service. You could also see and feel the teamwork amongst them.

Bathrooms were super clean and fully stocked.

No Inflight entertainment and no WiFi available on this flight.

Baggage delivery worked very well. Bags were delivered fast, first checked-in bags were 10 minutes after arrival on the belt and all priority bags came out first.

Summary:

All in all a very good flight with Lift in Premium.
Great priority product with exactly what you need and super friendly and helpful staff.
Stunning inflight product.
LIFT is not a low cost airline, as they offer free drinks and snacks also in Economy.
It is a real option and we hope they continue their growth with more flights to the existing destinations as well as they are able to increase their network.

Based on today's experience I would book lift immediately again and we can recommend them.
