On the Ground:
I checked in with my mobile and had no bags to be checked.
Short queue at the security check points und super unfriendly staff.

We did use the Sky View Lounge as it is the only lounge in Basel. The Lounge was almost empty as mostly low cost carriers fly to Basel. The choice and taste of the food and drinks was poor. The tables were dirty and most of the dishes we saw were dirty too.

The ground crew from swissport at the Airport was a disaster. Unfriendly and rude to all customers. You could see from a mile that they were pi..sed off to work. Absolutely horrible service.

Boarding started a few minutes after the indicated time. Priority boarding was conducted.

Whilst boarding the crew distributed Leibniz Pick up Choco.

 

Inflight:
The seats are surprisingly comfortable and ok for the size of the aircraft. The legroom is nice too. In Business Class with a 2/2 seating configuration only one seat of each side is given out, the other one remains empty.

After take off, a cold snack was served. The snack was nice and tasty.

Both Cabin Crew on this flight was outstanding, friendly and efficient. The Purser working in business class was calm and interacted with the customers during the entire flight with a smile. You could see her passion for the job and how proud she was to be a host.

No inflight entertainment system.
No WiFi available.

 

Summary a disaster on the ground, once in the plane an outstanding crew and solid product.
