On the Ground:
We were in transit in Frankfurt. We arrived in Terminal A, Gate A30 from Helsinki and continued to Zurich from Gate A40.
This was perfect as we didn't have to go through security.
We had a scheduled transit time of 1 hour. As we arrived 15 minutes early from Helsinki we even had the time to go to the Lounge.
The closest lounge in our Gate area was the Panorama Lounge. Actually it was the only one as the LH business class lounge was still closed. The Panorama Lounge is operated by Lufthansa but it definitely used to have another owner before. You could clearly see it, as it has a different layout as well as a completely different interior. The lounge was super full and completely overcrowded. Some people were even sitting on the floor.
Choice of food and drinks were actually very good with a nice buffet and full bar.

There was one single gate agent present for our flight. Boarding started exactly on time. Priority boarding was conducted and boarding was fully done via the self boarding gates.

At the aircraft door we were greeted by the Purser and another flight attendant.
After boarding the crew distributed some water bottles as welcome drink.
Inflight:
Lufthansas short haul Airbus fleet is equipped with a regular European Business Class with a 3/3 seating configuration where the middle seats remain empty.
The seats were okay and also offered enough legroom. They were rather firm to sit on. Not lots of upholstery left in these seats nowadays.
The flight deck crew did some great announcements. Very clear and understandable.
The announcements of the cabin crew were good. Slow, clear and understandable

After take off, a cold snack was served. The snack consisted of granola, a multigrain bar and an apple. This was completely sufficient for a 35 minutes flight.

The Cabin Crew on this flight was friendly and efficient. There wasn't enough time to interact with customers.

No inflight entertainment system.
Safety demonstration is done manually by the crew.
WiFi would have been available. I simply don't understand why someone would need WiFi for a 35 minutes hop.
After the flight:
Baggage delivery in Zurich was amazing. First bag was delivered 13 minutes after arrival.
Priority bags were delivered first.
All in all a good very short haul flight with Lufthansa in Business Class.
The crew was nice, the product on board was okay too. The ground product at Frankfurt Airport, the home base of Lufthansa definitely needs to improve.
I wouldn't book just the sector to/or from Frankfurt in Business class as on a 35 minutes hop it doesn't really makes sense. In combination with another flight out of Frankfurt it is an option.
