On the Ground:
Check-in at Helsinki airport was okay. They had 4 Economy drop-off counters open as well as 1 priority.
They Lady from the priority counter found it more exciting to check in a sports team from economy so that priority passengers were called to the drop-off counters.
The agent we got there, was super friendly and helpful. We were able to check in our bags in no time.

This morning, the security check wasn't such a great experience. There was no queue at all when we got to the security check-point. The problem was that the x-ray machine apparently didn't work properly. My bag was scanned 3 times and the staff was rather unfriendly and stressed with the whole situation.

Once through security, we went to the Aspire Lounge, which is the contracted lounge from Lufthansa in Helsinki.
The lounge isn't that big and it was packed with people. It was difficult to find some seating space. The F&B was so so. The selection of drinks was very good, even a full bar would have been available. The offer in food was on the very poor side. Bread rolls with cheese and ham as well as a joghurt or salad was available.
Gate staff was simply said present, and nothing more. The announcements they made were not understandable, way were way to silent.
You could not even hear a boarding announcement. Wouldn't you have seen on the screens that boarding started, no one would have known.
At the aircraft door we were greeted by the senior cabin crew member (Purser) and another crew member.
No welcome drinks, no water no nothing was distributed after boarding.
As a surprise whilst boarding, we recognized that we had a very special aircraft picking us up in Helsinki. The "Lovehansa" Airbus320neo, a proud pride aircraft.
Inflight:
Lufthansas short haul Airbus fleet is equipped with a regular European Business Class with a 3/3 seating configuration where the middle seats remain empty.
The seats were okay and also offered enough legroom. They were rather firm to sit on. Not lots of upholstery left in these seats nowadays.
Flight deck crew did some great announcements. Very clear and understandable.
The announcements of the purser were good. Slow, clear and understandable. What I do not like at all, but is the new style of announcement where guests, passengers, people or what so ever arent addressed anymore. Starting all announcements just by a sentence is strange and makes no sense.
After take off, the crew started the breakfast service. The tray looked rather boring and discouraging for a business class breakfast on a 2 hours plus flight.
There was some granola with milk, dried fruits, cold cuts with ham and cheese as well as some bread and croissants.
As said, the presentation was super boring and the quality was not much better than being boring.
They also served an apple as part of their concept "tasting Heimat" after the main service.

The cabin crew in business class was good. They were friendly, welcoming and did a nice service.

The Lufthansa Airbus 320 family has no inflight entertainment system. Safety demonstration is done manually and that's it.
Today's aircraft was not equipped with WiFi or it wasn't switched on.

Let's see how today's transfer process in Frankfurt works.

All in all an okay but very boring short haul flight with Lufthansa in Business Class.
The ground experience in Helsinki was okay.
The crew was good but the product on board was not something to talk about or to recommend.
