On the Ground:
As we were in transit in Lisbon and Zurich was able to check our bags through and hand out the boarding passes we did not have to see a check-in counter in Lisbon.
The security control in Lisbon was actually very good.
Even it was rush hour at 7:20AM, only very short queues with a waiting time of around 5 minutes.
The TAP Air Portugal lounge in Lisbon is rather new, very modern and quite big in size. Some areas unfortunately rather look like a waiting area.
The food concept in the lounge was simply awesome. You were able to build your own tray with different hot items, cold cuts, fruits etc. The food was really tasty. As they have a full bar with service you could choose on any drink you liked.
The gate we had for our flight was one of the strangest gates I have seen at an airport. It looked like a metro station in the terminal.
Gate staff was super friendly and helpful with customers.
Priority boarding was exactly conducted as per procedure. Unfortunately it was a bus gate.
The Crew was super pleasant whilst boarding and present in the cabin to help.
The crew distributed sanitizing wipes during boarding. No welcome drink or water bottle after boarding.
Inflight:
The seats are comfortable and ok. The seating configuration is a 3/3 with the famous European Business class which means the middle seat remains empty.
Positively is that the head rest is movable and perfect for a little nap. This A319 was even equipped with inseat power to charge your devices.
The cabin crew on this flight was really good. Lots of interaction with the passengers, super friendly and attentive. They had fun and liked what they did.
After take off, the crew started with the breakfast service. Once again the service the crew delivered was outstanding.
They serve a full size tray with cold cuts and other items, fresh fruits, yogurt as well as warm croissant and bread.
Drinks were offered every time the crew passed and the service was done by hand.
An absolutely excellent and fantastic service. Thank you TAP for keeping such a high standard.
Unfortunately the Aircraft has no Inflight entertainment system and No WiFi.
All in all, an amazing travel experience for a 1hour 20 minutes flight. Great crew and a great service.
I would definitely recommend TAP Air Portugal for future travels.
