First and foremost, wowwww. I thought it would be difficult to top our three outstanding flights we had so far with TAP Air Portugal but...
The entire in-flight crew on this flight should be nominated for a cabin crew award.
Speechless, no words! First Class Service with outstanding customer service into the smallest details and they all work with pride care and class.
Dear #tapairportugal should you read this, please promote the crews on our flights and you have won a new TAP Fan.
On the Ground:
We had to transit in Lisbon this time and we had 5 hours between our flights. Coming from a non Schengen Country this means passport control and security check again.
The airport would have around 10 automated passport control e-gates of which only 3 worked. From the ordinary immigration counters only three were manned so it took quite some time.
As passport control was a bottleneck, there was no queue at the security checkpoint anymore.
The TAP Air Portugal lounge once again was really good.
They had snacks throughout the entire afternoon available including hot dishes. What we liked once more was the fully equipped and manned bar in the lounge. I had one of the best gin tonics
ever. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The gate operation was again top. Before getting in to the gate area a document check was carried out to see if all passengers have the necessary documents to be able to enter Switzerland.
When the queue got longer they immediately opened up a second lane for priority customers.
Boarding itself was exactly as per procedure. Priority boarding was conducted and all other customers where boarded by a zone numbers.
Agents were super friendly and helped families and elderly passengers.
The Crew was pleasant whilst boarding and present in the cabin to help.
The crew distributed sanitizing wipes during boarding.
No welcome drink or water bottle after boarding.
Inflight:
The seats are comfortable and ok. The seating configuration on this Airbus 321neo is in a 3/3 layout with the famous European Business class which means the middle seat remains empty.
Positively is that the head rest is movable and perfect for a little nap. This A321neo was equipped with inseat power to charge your devices.
After take off, the crew distributed the menu cards for business class.
Sorry if I repeat myself once more, I was speechless about the great in-flight service TAP Air Portugal is offering. This service tonight was better than many other Star Alliance Carriers
offer on business class long haul.
On today's flight we were served a hot dinner on a full size tray consisting of a starter, hot meal choice for dinner as well as a dessert. In addition hot bread was offered beside all the
other amenities on the tray.
Drinks were offered every time the crew passed and the service was done by hand.
An absolutely excellent and fantastic service. Thank you TAP for keeping such a high standard.
No words can describe the top service of the inflight crew. There is only one thing I can say which every aviation lover will understand.
Welcome back to the glory days of aviation.
Customer service and passion at its best. The teamwork and harmony they showed was a real pleasure.
Unfortunately the Aircraft has no Inflight entertainment system and No WiFi.
After four flights with TAP, every flight better than the other one there is only one thing I can say:
You HAVE TO TRY TAP Air Portugal. A big big recommendation from our side.
