On the Ground:
Transiting in Doha is easy and convenient. After the security screening, (which was empty) you are left in the main Terminal area which is huge, lots of space and a massive shopping area. Free high speed WiFi throughout the terminal.

As we had time we had a walk through the terminal and wanted to stretch our legs.
Here we found out watching on the screens that our flight to Adelaide was delayed for 2hrs 35minutes.

After the short walk we went to the Al Mourjan Business Lounge.
We were blown away. The Lounge was gigantic. There are different sitting areas, bars, restaurants, game rooms, etc etc. I have never seen such a big lounge and you are even served at your table or lounge chair.
As the new departure time was set for 22:50 local time we decided to go to the restaurant for dinner.
Again amazing staff there. Food was from the buffet and drinks were served.
They even mix you Mojitos at the bar.

We were fully stuffed when leaving the lounge.

We went to the gate for boarding on the indicated time. There was an additional security check performed.
Once in the waiting area there was a huge mess and almost no seats available. No real priority boarding was conducted. They boarded everyone together with the addition that priority can board at their own convenience, using the same lanes as Economy.

The crew was very welcoming and super present in the cabin during boarding.
The seats were already equipped with amenity kits, headsets and water bottles. Welcome drinks as well as newspapers were distributed and you got your Pyjama and Slippers.
First time I get a Pyjama in Business Class.

Inflight:
Wowww, another great, caring and professional cabin crew.
They give you the feeling of being welcome and once you are in your seat you can not do different then relax.

I ordered an Apple Cooler drink as after take off drink and just a soup and ice cream.
Once the drink was brought I decided to cancel the food as I simply couldn’t anymore. I was shortly before exploding.

The crew came and brought the mattress for my seat and made the bed out of it.
I went and changed into my Pyjama, brushed my teeth and went to bed.
I slept almost 9!!!!! hours like a baby. This should say everything about the comfort.

About 2,5 hours before landing I had breakfast.
The food again was not airline style but high quality restaurant.

I am still impressed about Qatar Airways Crew and Service.


Yes it is definitely a 5Star airline and I am looking forward to my return flight.

I would definitely recommend Qatar Airways for future travels.
