On the Ground:
As we were in transit in Singapore, no check-in needed.

We had 75 minutes connecting time from our Swiss flight on to Singapore Airlines to Bangkok. Luckily both flights were at the B pier at Changi Airport which meant that we only had 4 minutes from gate to gate.

This gave us even the option to go for a short pit stop at the Lounge.
And wowww, finally back in Asia again. The lounge staff was super friendly and helpful. Softdrinks, tee and coffee were self service and the alcoholic bar was attended.
Food had to be ordered online. You could simply scan a QR code and then order anything from the menu.
As Singapore Changi Airport does not have a centralized security, you have to clear security at every gate.
When we got to our gate, there was no queue and we could go straight through. Staff was super friendly.
After security you go through the gate and board into the waiting lounge.
Gate staff was super friendly and we had to check show once more all necessary documents to be able to enter Thailand.

Boarding started a little later than the indicated time. Boarding announcements were made according procedure but as there was no one by the door everyone just walked down the jetbridge.

At the aircraft door we were greeted by a friendly cabin crew member.
Also in the other crew members were in the cabin and helped passengers to find their seats and stow their luggage. The crew was super present and friendly whilst boarding.

The seats were already equipped with headphones, a care kit (mask, disinfectant towels and hand sanitizer) and a bottle of water.

Inflight:
The Singapore Airlines business class on this A350-900 is simply wowwww!
These are not seats, these are thrones!
The seat layout is 1-2-1 and the seats are massive.
They are tremendously comfortable and are of course fully lie flat.
After take off the cabin crew started with the service.
A full size tray was served. It was a mix of breakfast and lunch. You could choose an egg dish to make it a complete breakfast or choose the Asian way. Noodles with fish or chicken with rice and it was more a lunch.
The food tasted delicious.
The crew served different cold and hot drinks and whilst clearing the cabin they asked for refills.

Bathrooms were super clean and checked throughout the flight and always refilled.

The inflight entertainment is simply awesome. The screen is massive and you have a huge choice of movies, series and music.

The aircraft is equipped with wifi.

100MB are free of charge for business class customers which is sufficient for an almost 2 hours flight. The speed of the wifi was good.

All in all a fantastic flight and we are almost disappointed that the flight only last 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Super service and a great and friendly crew.
We would loooove to try Singapore Airlines on a longhaul flight and we can definitely recommend them for intra Asia flights.
