On the Ground:

We arrived around 1hr 15minutes prior to the departure time at check-in. As Milan Malpensa has a common Lufthansa Group check-in, all counters were open.

The agent at check in was very friendly and chatty.

Once checked in we made our way to security.

Milan Malpensa Airport offers a dedicated priority lane for business class passengers. There was no queue at all. At security,. Agents were friendly and talkative.

As we were quite late, we didn't go to the Lounge. The Lufthansa group would ha e it's own lounge in malpensa.

Our flight departed from an open parking position so we got a bus gate. We arrived at the Gate 10 minutes prior the indicated boarding time.

The agents at the gate were friendly and priority boarding and all boarding announcements were done exactly by procedure. There were only a few passengers on this early Sunday morning flight.

A bus then took us to our aircraft.

At the aircraft door we were greeted by the Senior Cabin Attendant.

Once everyone was boarded, some water bottles and refreshing towels were distributed.

Inflight:

The seats are okay in terms of comfort and legroom. This Embraer had much newer and more comfortable seats than the ones I have flown so far.

I don't know if these seats are just for the last 4 planes which were integrated into the fleet or if Helvetic Airways is changing its seats. These ones from this aircraft would make an awesome fit.

The Embraer has a 2/2 seating configuration where Swiss is only giving out 1 seat on business class and keeps the other one empty for more space.

After take off, the crew served some croissants accompanied by drinks.

For a 30, minutes flight with a departure time of 6:45AM this is absolutely sufficient.

Announcement from the flight deck were very good. They were clear and understandable.

The announcements from the cabin crew were so so. The ones from the cabin attendant at the back were good and clear, the once from the senior cabin attendant less.

The Embraer has no inflight entertainment system.

No WiFi available.

Every seat is equipped with a USB port to charge your devices as well as a small device holder so you can use your device as screen.

Arrival in Zurich was exactly on time and we were parked at a gate position.

First bags were delivered 17 minutes after arriving on the parking position and priority bags were delivered first.

All in all a good flight with Swiss operated by Helvetic Airways.

Good and friendly crew with a nice inflight product for a 30min hop.

Great airport experience on both ends at the departure and arrival airport.
