Mobile or web check-in wasn't somehow impossible. We tried several times on different computers and on our mobile phones but it wouldn't work.
So we arrived 2,5 hours prior departure at the airport. Thanks to our Senator Status with Swiss we were allowed to check in at the First Class counter.
The agent was simply amazing. Very welcoming, helpful and was chatting with us throughout the whole process. Check-in was done in no time.
The Security Check once again was simply awesome. Very short queues and only a few minutes waiting time.
Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful.
Other airports would be more than jealous.
As we had enough time, we visited the Swiss Alpine Lounge which is open again.
It is one of the nicest lounges of Swiss as it is not overcrowded and has enough seating space.
The F&B product was very good. A nice buffet with cold and hot items as well as a full bar. Food was very delicious and the staff also here was simply amazing and welcoming.
Staff at the gate was friendly and even took to the time to chat with us. Priority boarding was conducted.
At the aircraft door we were greeted by the senior cabin crew member (Maitre de Cabine) and another crew member. The crew was super present and friendly whilst boarding but a little hectic
whilst running back and forth in the cabin.
Due to a fully booked flight, water bottles as well as refreshing towels were already placed at our seats.
Inflight:
The seats are comfortable and ok. The regular European Business Class with a 3/3 seating configuration where the middle seats remain empty.
Unfortunately my seat had definitely seen better times as it was worn out.
No chance to understand the announcements from the cockpit crew.
Cabin Crew announcements were ok.
After take off, a cold snack was served. The meal was very delicious and the food presentation looked good.
The tray consisted of a cold snack, fresh swiss cheese, a dessert as well as bread and butter.
The cabin crew was okay, very very young and seemed super inexperienced.
Due to the full cabin and the short flight time, they didn't really interact with the passengers and seemed very stressed. No smiles, no interaction, just robots without passion and pride.
The service was rushed and beaten through within 35 minutes. And there were 50 minutes left. They could have easily slowed down and have taken more time to interact.
The Swiss Airbus 320 family is equipped with an inflight entertainment system which consists of screens above every third seat row. On this flight, they only showed the most famous film in
Aviation: "the map“.
No WiFi available on this flight.
Baggage delivery in Amsterdam was a disaster. Our bags arrived 40 minutes after landing.
Bags were delivered all mixed up, first ones being non prio, then prio and then a whole mix.
All in all a good flight with Swiss. Ground product at the airport was very good. The Inflight service was great as well for such a short flight but unfortunately the cabin crew wasn't on
the ball on this flight.
