First of all, what a wonderful and fantastic experience. Swiss knows how pamper it's customers.
On the Ground:
When we arrived in Zurich after our connecting Flight, we proceeded to the Swiss First Class and HON Lounge in Terminal A.
Once we arrived there we did the "check-in" and an appointment for the Limousine Transfer was organized.
The Lounge is almost brand new and it's interior is simply amazing. It is luxurious but still has the Swiss understatement.
The Bar with the biggest varieties of Grappa was heaven. We decided to have a small Lunch at the restaurant area and we discovered the chef's choice of the day
which we had, no must try.
This lounge is great and it's staff was simply phenomenal.
After Lunch we had our limousine transfer from Terminal A to Terminal E.
It took us about 5 minutes to transfer including passport control. The lady who drove us was awesome and interacted with us all the time.
Once we arrived at the First & HON lounge in terminal E we were blown away. 270 degree view over the airport and apron. An amazing wine rack and a huge Champagne bar.
It was perfect to chill for a while. As we had enough time we sneaked over to the Senator Lounge which has the biggest Whiskey collection.
We were also able to have a look at the bedrooms which the first class Lounge offers.
Back in the Lounge we had another drink and some snacks. Food and Beverage was amazing there too and the staff was great.
At boarding time we left the lounge and headed in a few steps to our gate.
Priority boarding was conducted at its best.
Once on board the cabin crew interacted immediately with the guest and welcomed them in a charming and welcoming way.
You could order as many drinks as you wanted and some warm nuts were served with the beverages.
The amenity kid as well as a small pillow and a day blanket were ready on the seat.
The crew distributed newspapers, magazines, slippers and pyjamas.
Inflight:
The seats are simply phenomenal. Lots and lots of space with a feeling of a small suite. The cabin layout is 1 / 2 / 1.
The bed and bedding is super cosy and comfortable.
After take off a hot towel was distributed and the table was set up for an amuse bouche and an aperitif.
Shortly after, the table was set up for dinner like in a five star temple. The starter was served followed by a soup, salad, main dish, cheese and
dessert.
The food was simply phenomenal and the set up and presentation was wowwww.
The entire crew working up front was outstanding. They did their job with passion, love, happiness and pride.
The interaction and engagement with customers was second to none.
About 1,5 hours prior landing breakfast would have been served. We were still stuffed from dinner so we decided to have a coffee and a croissant with some fruits.
The inflight entertainment is not an award winner but it is good and solid. It has definitely enough to offer for such a flight with a wide variety of films,
music, games etc.
Wifi was available and worked really well the entire flight. We actually posted life the food pictures and our experiences.
If you buy the wifi on board it is to expensive compared to other airlines.
Once we arrived in Bangkok an agent with our names was waiting at the jet brige. We were escorted to the fast track immigration, the baggage reclaim area until out to our driver.
All in all a wonderful and stunning experience. I have traveled a lot but this was simply perfection from A to Z.
A big thank you to all the staff members who dedicate so much that others can have such a stunning experience.
