On the Ground:
Thanks to our current frequent traveler status we were allowed to check in at the business class counters.
There was no queue at all and the agent was super friendly and efficient.
The Security Check once again was simply awesome. Being there in the midst of the morning rush hour the queues were moderate and moved forward quite fast.
Staff was efficient and friendly.
Thanks to our FQTV status with Swiss, we could use their Business Class Lounge.
The Lounge was full but not overcrowded like the last time.
The selection of Food (fresh fruit salad, Muesli, bread, croissants and hot egg dishes) was awesome and also all Drinks were available again. There is no more notable difference to pre-covid.
Gate staff was present and boarding started at the indicated time.
Agent was friendly and interacted with the passengers. Announcements were gut and in three languages. Priority boarding conducted.
Cabin crew was present in cabin whilst boarding and greeted all passengers.
Inflight:
The seats are comfortable and ok. The seating configuration is 2/3.
Leg room is really good on the Swiss Airbus 220.
The cabin crew on this flight was super friendly and motivated. They were present in the cabin and interacted with the customers. You could feel that they like to do what they do.
As Swiss has said goodbye to their Inflight service, all you get on all European flights in Economy is a bottle of water and the famous Swiss chocolate.
All other items have to be purchased from the menu on board.
A chicken sandwich costs 10.50CHF (11.50$) and a combo of cold cuts and a small bottle of wine costs 25 00CHF (27.15$). To see all products have a look at the pictures.
Prices for the Swiss Saveurs Menu are simply INSANE and a ripp of. You just pay the name "sprΓΌngliβ
A sandwich at a real bakery (Steiner Beck) at Zurich Airport in the Terminal costs 5.90CHF (6.40$).
So for everyone as a hint, bring your own food and drinks from inside the terminal as it is cheaper.
Baggage delivery took almost 35-40 minutes after arrival. Priority bags came somewhere in between all the other bags.
Well, Swiss is no more premium airline with this service. I know I am sitting in Economy but there is no more difference to easyJet. Oh wait there is... A small bottle of water and Swiss is
more expensive.
No inflight entertainment system. The map was shown on the small screens throughout the flight.
No WiFi available..
All in all, an OK flight with no service but nice crew.
No more difference to a low cost carrier.
Our recommendation, simply choose the cheapest provider on that specific route.
