On the Ground:
THAI Smile Airways is the low cost carrier of Thai Airways International and it has taken over almost all domestic routes with Thailand and even some routes to bordering countries.
THAI Smile Airways offers most of their flights out of Suvarnabhumi Airport and it is a Star Alliance partner.
So we arrived 1,5 hours prior departure at the airport. Thanks to our Senator Status with Swiss which is Star Gold we were allowed to check-in at the Priority /premium Class counter and also got priority for our bags and boarding.
The agent was very friendly and welcoming. Check-in was done in no time.
The Security Check at Suvarnabhumi Airport was great. Only around 5 people in front of us with no waiting time at all.
Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful.

THAI Smile Airways does not offer lounge access which was no issue at all as we only had to wait around 25 minutes at the gate.

Staff at the gate was okay. Not super friendly and they performed their dury like robots.
Priority boarding announcement was made but no one followed the instructions and the gate agent couldn't have cared less.

At the aircraft door we were greeted by the senior cabin crew member. The crew was super present and friendly whilst boarding. Thei were helping to find the seats and helping to find space for the luggage.

Inflight:
The seats are comfortable and ok. The Airbus A320 has a 3/3 seating configuration. The legroom is actually great for a short haul aircraft in low cost service. Actually they have 18 seats less than the LH group has on their A320.
Announcement from the cockpit were good and understandable.
Cabin Crew announcement were something different. It was super hard to almost impossible to understand the English announcement. Way to silent and way to fast.
After take off, the crew distributed a very nice small bag containing a sandwich, a water bottle and a refreshing towel. Then they passed with coffee and tea.
Given the short flight time of 1 hr 5 min which leaves around 35 minutes for the service, this was a great inflight service and definitely sufficient. Well done THAI Smile Airways.

The cabin crew was very friendly and helpful. They showed some passion for what they do.

The Airbus A320 of THAI Smile Airways is equipped with an inflight entertainment system which consists of screens above every third seat row.
They showed some advertisements about the sustainability program of THAI Smile.
No WiFi available on this flight.

Baggage delivery worked perfectly fine in Chiang Rai. First Bag arrived on the belt 15 minutes after arriving on the stand and priority bags were delivered first.

All in all a great flight with THAI Smile Airways. Great inflight product for such a short flight and great crew.
Definitely an Airline we can recommend for travels within Thailand.
