This is my second stay at this property, the last review was from 2018. Hell, how time flies.

General Information:

The Hotel is located almost downtown Vienna. The metro station from the U4 is just a few steps from the hotel. You can reach SchΓΆnbrunn with just one stop and downtown with all the famous sights is only 5 stops away. Public transport is easy to use. Just buy a Vienna card for either 24/48/72hrs.

The hotel itself has a total of 305 guest rooms including suites and the building has a total of 7 floor

The hotel was fully renovated a few years ago and is still in phantastic shape. It is a very modern, posh and bright property.

Check-in:
The check in was okay and friendly. The agent interacted with the guests but as he was the only agent and the queue quite long, he was rather stressed.
No mentioning of any status during check in but I was given the option to choose between Breakfast and points because the property has no lounge and for points or F&B credit as awelcome gift.
No amenity or card in the room.

Nights, Points and respective revenue were posted 24 hours after my stay and everything was posted correctly.

Check out:
Check-out was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. The agent was a little grumpy but friendly. Must have been the early morning check out.
Happy that I made it to make her smile. πŸ˜‰
No question if everything was okay what so ever. Simply, thank you and goodbye.

Room:

I was super lucky and got upgraded to a junior suite.
It is one of the biggest junior suites I have ever seen. With the two rooms and the 1,5 bathroom it could easily be an executive suite at other properties.
As said, the suite was huge, lots of windows and it had a great and modern atmosphere. I loved the combination of modern, art, colours and freshness. It gave the suite a breezy touch but it was still cosy and comfortable.
A huge plus is the little Balcony which gives the suite an extra touch.

The mattress is rather on the firm side which I love and the pillows and the tiny duvet were awesome. They were light and fluffy and I had a good night's sleep.

Bathroom:

The main bathroom is huge too. It had a huge walk in shower with a rainforest shower head. The shower worked perfectly and the water pressure was great.
The bathroom has a very modern sink and in general a very modern atmosphere.

The half bathroom by the entrance just got a refresh but wasn't renovated when the rooms were done. It is held in a dark marble and still in good shape.

Lobby:

As I was in Vienna for business, unfortunately I had no time to try the restaurant or the bar.
The Lobby and bar area are super modern, have a great atmosphere and and are bright and friendly.
The Lobby in general is super modern, bright and friendly.
In the back of the lobby there is another really nice room. Mixture of library and fireplace room. Very pleasant to retreat and discuss something or work more quietly.

F&B:

What immediately jumped into my eyes was the new sort of shop, pantry in the lobby. It is super modern and offers a huge choice of drinks, snacks and other items. It almost looks like a small shop.

The only F&B I was able to try was breakfast. The buffet is great in quality and quantity. The selection is top with awesome products and the food presentation is phenomenal. It is one of the most modern breakfast buffet I know and it is set up with lots of love and details.
The staff at breakfast was super friendly, smiling and always present on the floor.

Summary:

I would have loved to stay longer and to try out other things at the property.

But I can tell you, I will be back!

The Renaissance Wien Hotel is a great option when staying in Vienna.

All in all this was a great stay. The hotel has a phenomenal Hardware (reception, lobby, restaurant, bar rooms). Staff was nice and friendly as well.
