This stay was completely different than the stay 1 month ago in May.

The check in was a disaster and very unprofessional and unfriendly.
The trainee first has no idea what to do and the clerk who stepped in was stressed and unfriendly.
They asked me and other guests to write my full credit card details (full number, expiry date and.signature) on a piece of paper as this would be a new procedure and they will keep the details for 45 days.
I refused to write down my number as they have it in my profile or could have swiped it.
When asking to see the front office manager she came and was super rude. This would be the new procedure and that's it.
I asked her if she ever heard something about PCI Payment Card Industry compliance as this is completely against it. Marriott International and Starwood Preferred Guest - SPG you should train this staff in credit card security and privacy.

Check out was better and the agent tried to recover.
The front office staff was much unprofessional and unfriendlier as last time.

The room was nice and had an ok atmosphere. The interior is in good shape but much much older as last time.
The entire carpet on that floor was dirty and worn out.
The lobby and all public areas were renovated recently and look great.

The house keeping is simply great. I did the green choice and also this time the rubbish bins were emptied and the water bottles refilled.

Breakfast wasn't good this time and not worth the money.
At 8:45 AM the buffet looked tumbled and eaten up. Nothing was really refilled.

For all gym and spa freaks unfortunately not so good news in this property. The Hotel gym is small, old and rather worn out.
The pool and real gym is from an other company and open to the public. It is no place to relax or hang out.

All in all this time no Westin experience at all. This is no SPG standard.

The hotel is located almost a central downtown.
Lots in the vicinity can be reached by feet.(shopping center, restaurants & bars, museums and most of the famous sights)

I would rethink to use this hotel for future stays.
