General Info:
The hotel is located in a few minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and it has its own shuttle bus.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Badhoevedorp and you can walk in 20 minutes to the village center.
The Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Hotel complex is a 4-Star Hotel and has a total of a whopping 680 rooms, divided over 3 hotel buildings; Plaza, Urban and Apartments.
We were staying at the Plaza complex which has a total of 207 rooms including suites.
A very special thing is, that the hotel has a full Boeing 747-400 in their garden.
Check-in:
The check-in was fantastic. The agent was super friendly and chatted with us during the whole process.
As the room wasn't fully ready the agent offered us a voucher for a drink in their F&B outlets.
She explained us the property, where to find what and made us feel comfortable from the first second.
Check-out:
Check-out was great too. The agent interacted with us and asked for feedback about our stay. She remembered us from the previous day and asked how we liked the Skybar.
Staff at the front desk was always super friendly and helpful.
Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Recognition:
During check-in, the agent acknowledged our status, we were upgraded from our booked Junior Suite to a superior suite.
Breakfast was also offered as the welcome amenity at check-in.
There was a nice box of stroll waffles in the room together with a welcome letter and a drink voucher at their F&B outlet.
All in all a very good recognition as Titanium Elite Member.

The eligible night credit as well as the revenue and points posted correctly 1 day after our stay.
Concierge:
There is no real concierge desk at this property but the front desk team was helping where ever possible.
Room / Suite:
The Superior Suite we were upgraded to was absolutely stunning.
The room was big and had a great atmosphere. A huge window which went around the entire room.
The room is equipped with a fantastic king size bed, two lounge chairs and a desk.
The suite itself was super modern, trendy with useful furniture and decoration. The room had a fantastic atmosphere.
A very special thing is the freestanding bathtub in the room.
The bed itself was very good. The mattress was top, the bedding phenomenal. The duvet were super comfy and fluffy the pillows were amazing. One of the best sleeps in a hotel for a long time.
WiFi is worked well throughout the entire hotel.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is decent in size and quite modern as well. When you enter the bathroom you have the washbasin on the left and in the far corner there is the walk in shower.
The bathroom is very modern as well and the colours match the room.
The shower was okay, water pressure rather on the low side.
Housekeeping:
The room was cleaned properly and the bed was done astonishing perfect and impeccable. Housekeeping did a great job.
The room was super clean as were the public areas.
F&B outlets/ Lounge:
Skybar 747 / Mondi Pianobar and Restaurant
The hotel has an absolutely amazing Skybar on the top floor with an amazing view.
We enjoyed a few great drinks there late afternoon as well as in the evening. In the evening they had fantastic live music and the atmosphere was simply great.
Drinks were awesome and the staff up there is fantastic and super friendly.
We also had dinner at the Mondi Restaurant. They serve Caribbean food which is quite special.
The food oa is rather on the expensive side. The quality was good though.
All you can eat Restaurant
The all you can eat restaurant is the main restaurant of the hotel and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
In the evening they have a huge buffet dinner. We did not try it as we had dinner at the a la Carte Mondi restaurant.
Breakfast was super good.
The buffet is absolutely huge and offers everything. It is more a vacation resort breakfast than a regular hotel and so is also the feeling. The quality of the food was good.
Staff at breakfast was friendly but they stayed in the background and always cleared everything away like busy ants.

The hotel has a huge wellness and spa area. Unfortunately we did not have the time to try it out.
Social Media:
Social media seems to be rather unknown to this property. They do post and repost some things on Instagram and Facebook but very irregular and no interaction at all with their followers.
Summary:
All in all a great stay at the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel. We loved it and will definitely come back.
We were actually super surprised about the beautiful hotel and the great customer service they offer.
We think this property is a little gem in the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.
Nice, modern and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and especially fantastic staff throughout the entire property.
We will definitely rechoose them for future stays.
