Before picking up our Houseboat in Sneek, we did spend one night in this little city.
General Info:
Sneek is a picturesque town located in the province of Friesland in the Netherlands. Known for its rich history, beautiful waterways, and vibrant sailing culture, Sneek is a popular
destination for both tourists and boating enthusiasts. Key attractions include the iconic Waterpoort (Water Gate), the historic city center with its charming buildings, and the annual
Sneekweek sailing event.
Stadslogement King Size Bed and Breakfast is a cozy and inviting little accommodation situated in the heart of Sneek. This bed and breakfast offers well-appointed rooms.
Guests can enjoy modern amenities such as king-sized beds, private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and air condition.
The B&B is conveniently located near many of Sneek's main attractions, shops, and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring the town.
The bed and breakfast has a total of 5 rooms spread over 3 floors.
Check-in / Check-out
It is not possible to rate it, as the bed and breakfast has no staff on side. There is no real check-in or out.
The Bed & Breakfast registers your phone number and that is how you enter the building.
You open the main door as well as the room door by calling a specific number with your mobile phone. The call release the door lock and you are able to enter the Bed & Breakfast and the room.
It is very special and modern.
Room / Suite:
We had a Deluxe room on the first floor.
The room was well appointed, lots of natural light thanks to two windows. The interior was very light and modern.
The room has a kingsize bed, a wardrobe, a table with two chairs and a coffeemaker and water heater. Amenities for coffee and tea are provided.
The aircondition worked perfectly fine.
The bed itself was really good. Great pillow and light duvet and we had a very good night's sleep.
Bathroom:
The bathroom has a decent size. It has also a big window overlooking the canal.
The colors are light and the shower is. Quite big and has a good water pressure.
The room was super clean as were all the public areas.
F&B outlets/ Lounge:
The hotel would offer breakfast delivered to your room but we had a rate without breakfast.
Otherwise no F&B available.
Summary:
All in all a good stay in a very modern, clean and comfortable bed & breakfast.
Should you visit Sneek for a night or two, we can definitely recommend the Stadslogement KingSize Bed & Breakfast.
