The Hotel is located edging the districts Mitte and Wedding. The train and metro station Gesundbrunnen is only a 3-4 minutes walk away. Next to the hotel is the Humboldthain park.
They say the area of Gesundbrunnen is an upcoming area in Berlin. Unfortunately at the moment it is different and it isn't a very clean or pleasant district.

It was the first time for us at an AC Hotel by Marriott.
I didn't expect a lot and I thought that it ranks along side with the Courtyard and 4Points.
Well not this AC Hotel. In my eyes it is actually much better than the Sheraton in Berlin and their service and interior is at a very very high level.

The check in was good and friendly. The agent interacted with the guests and was helpful. We were upgraded to an executive room. No question about the benefit I would like to choose and no recognition from the agent about the Marriott Bonvoy status.
Check out was good too with a nice interaction from the agent.

The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. They always interacted with guest or had some words to chitchat.

The executive room was amazing. The room was comfortable and has a great atmosphere. Lots of natural lights and what I liked most was the huge amount of wood, the stunning wooden floor and everything paired with some stylish, modern andΒ  classy accents in forniture.

The Hotel has the AC Lounge. It serves as Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner on one side and as Lounge and Bar on the other side.

Staff at the AC Lounge is simply amazing, friendly and helpful. You could see they really work as a team and have fun with what they are doing.
The drinks and food are super delicious. The food menu is at a very high level.

We would like to point out the Bartender Leander. For a long long time I haven't seen someone so engaging with the customers and working with passion. It was a real pleasure to watch and experience.

Breakfast was served at the AC Lounge as well. The buffet was good and the quality and quantity was nice.
Unfortunately I have to point out that the buffet gets tiring after 3 days. It is always the same 3 cold cuts, the same 3 type of cheese etc. It would be nice if there would be a little more change. Especially on the weekend.
Staff were always smiling and interacting with the guests during breakfast.

This hotel really does the little extra. Water bottles in the room were refilled every day.

Housekeeping is not the fastest one. The first day at 15:30 the room still wasn't cleaned.
Never the less house keeping does a great job as the room and bathroom are spotless clean.

All in all we received an absolutely great service well worth the money we did spend.
I was surprised and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We will be revisiting this property soon and I am looking forward to see if they can keep a consistency.
