The Hotel is located 3 stop with the train from Munich Downtown. The public transport is good and convenient and it only takes about 10 minutes to get into the city centre.
I wouldn't recommend to rent a car if you are just staying in Munich.

We arrived late in the evening and the check in was a total disaster.
The agent (most probably already the night auditor) greeted us with a simple "yes" and was rather groggy and unfriendly. No recognition from the agent about the bonvoy status.

Check out was good. The agent interacted with the customers, was super friendly and helpful.
In general the front desk staff was really good, friendly and helpful.

The room was really nice. We were given a bigger room on the top floor of the building. The rooms aren't really big but they are comfortable and have a good atmosphere.
The Interior and furniture is good in terms of condition. Housekeeping is doing a great job. Otherwise the rooms are really dated in terms of colours and furniture.

A really positive point was the house keeping staff. Every time you saw someone they were super friendly, greeted and interacted with the customers.

Unfortunately I have to say that the bar is useless in terms of selection, staff and ambiance.
It is super outdated, old and it even feels a little filthy.

Breakfast was ok in terms of quality and quantity. But the love and care for the products are missing. The presentation is more cantine style than a hotel. With little extras and some small
details you could improve it a lot.
Staff was ok at breakfast. They had no interaction with the guests and were simply doing their job.

All in all a very good stay in terms of the room and frontdesk staff (except check in) as well as house keeping.
F&B needs improvement. This is the weakest link in this hotel and F&B staff could need some training.
The entire Hotel would need a fresh up or a full renovation as it is really dated and in public areas you can see, it is old and used.

I would recommend this hotel and should I revisit Munich I might reconsider to go back.
