The Hotels name with City Center might be a little misleading. It is in the City and close to the center but the area is still shabby and gas seen better times.
Potsdamer Platz can be reached in 20 minutes walking.

The check in was super professional and friendly. The agent interacted with the guests and smalltalked. It gave it a very welcome and warm atmosphere. All bonvoy status benefits were given without asking.
Check out was rather unprofessional and agent had just basic knowledge. In addition grooming does not seem to be her strength. She looked like fresh out of bed.

We were lucky and got upgraded to a Courtyard suite. It was huge, lots of windows and had great atmosphere. The has bright colours and freshnes.
The bathroom was nice, in good shape and big in size. The shower unfortunately is useless. There is an adjustable shower head which does not stay in the position and glides down all the time. With 180cm tall you simply can't stand under the shower.

I had dinner at the Restaurant and we tried the bar as well.
It has the new Courtyard Kitchen and bar Style. Food and drinks were good. Staff wasn't well motivated but friendly.

As I was here for meetings I didn't take breakfast in the morning.

All in all this was a good stay.
I would choose this hotel again if I would need a cheaper option for Berlin or for Business nights.
If you are traveling to Berlin to explore the city, there are much better options.
