The Hotel is located quite central of the city of Konstanz. You can reach everything in walking distance.
The check in was ok and friendly, but no interaction with the customers.
Check out was ok too but minimal interaction from agent. No question if everything was ok etc.
The room was the smallest I have ever seen. A shoe box size 14 is definitely bigger.
We got a room in the basement. Already the corridor was cramped. When entering the room it was super dark. It gives you the feeling of a dungeon with a small window which is obstructed with
plants.
The interior is ok and at first sight looks ok. We booked a double room but were given a French bed only. Cramped night.
Internet WiFi connection in the room is suuuuuuper slow. Not usable if you need it for work.
The bathroom is something different. You can't close the shower door completely and the joints/seals are broken and full of mold. see pictures.
We had a room with connecting door. Our friend was staying next to us. She told us the next morning at breakfast that when she showered she had the same problem and that she flooded the
entire bathroom and room. Once we went back we checked and as you can see on the pictures the water came over to our room as well.
Breakfast in the restaurant was good and tasty. Quality and quantity was really nice and sufficient.
Staff was rather grumpy and no one greeted us. They are just doing a job and no interaction with the guests.
All in all. Nice at first sight and once you look closer you will find the problems. The mold and actually the entire shower is a disaster and evidence of incapacity of a hotel.
I wouldn't choose this hotel again.
