General Info:
The hotel is located in Rust, just outside the Europapark.
A few steps from the hotel there are 2 to 3 restaurants where you can go for dinner. Additionally there are lots of other Hotels, B&B and guesthouses around here.
Otherwise there is not a lot in walking vicinity.

To get to geh the Europa-Park by car it takes around 3-4 minutes. You can also walk to the main entrance but that takes around 15-20 minutes.

The Moxy Rust is rather new and just opened last year.
It has a total of 130 rooms which are classified as regular double rooms and Family rooms.
The hotel is in very good shape. The Moxy vibe is all over and I love this fresh and young atmosphere. The interior is super modern, trendy, bright and colorful.
This vibe can only be found at the Moxy.
Special at Moxy is the actual center piece of every lobby. This center piece combines the front desk, the bar and restaurant all in one.
Check-in:
The check-in was super slow and the agent wasn't able to check me in. It took her around 10 minutes and a couple of phone calls until she knew what to do.
Nevertheless she continued chatting with us and stayed calm and friendly.
Check-out:
Check-out was absolutely stunning. The agent interacted with us and made sure she got a feedback about our stay.

Staff at the front desk was always nice and helpful and if they had the time also very chatty.

Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Recognition:
During check-in, the agent did not acknowledged our status by saying so.
We were asked, if we would like to have the points or the F&B credit as welcome benefit.
We booked a family room as we traveled with our God child and they gave us a corner family room.

There was a nice handwritten card in the room and as a welcome amenity there was a bottle of water. Super stunning was that instead of putting any chocolate or fruits in the room as a welcome amenity we were invited for breakfast.

All in all a good recognition as Ambassador Elite Member for a Moxy.

Eligible nights and points:
To follow as soon as points and nights are posted. The review will be updated accordingly.
Concierge:
There was no concierge but the front desk helped where they could and as best as they could.
Room / Suite:
The Family corner room was super spacious, two big floor to ceiling windows with lots of natural light and a super modern, trendy but yet useful furniture and decoration.
Our room consisted of a queen bed, a loft bed for the kids as well as a armchair which could be used as a 4th bed.
We really loved the atmosphere in the room.
The bed itself was good. The mattress is rather on the firm side and the bedding such as pillows and duvet were super comfy.

The air conditioning was working perfectly albeit the hot weather outside.

WiFi is without login in the entire hotel. But the system kicks you out every night and you have to log-in in different areas when moving around the hotel.
Speed of the WiFi was okay.
Bathroom:
The bathroom was super small and tight but also super modern and bright.
I do not expect anything bigger in a moxy and it serves its purpose.
Housekeeping:
Finally a. Property with a better housekeeping again.
The room was cleaned properly and the bed was done properly as well. The family rooms must be a hassle for housekeeping with the bunk bed.
The room was super clean as was the public areas.
F&B outlets/ Lounge:
The concept of Moxy Hotels provides only a Bar with Snacks and the Breakfast Buffet.
We had a few drinks at the bar as well as one night dinner and snacks.
The drinks were okay and the snacks were okay. They do serve some Pizzas, pasta dishes, some bar nibbles and salad bowls.
All food items are full convenience products but out of a very good quality.
Breakfast was super good for a Moxy Hotel.
The buffet is absolutely top. They serve bread, pastry, juices, cereals, hot dishes, cold cuts and cheese and other items.
The quality of the food was really good.
Staff was the same as at the front desk as they have to do everything.
Some were friendlier and more helpful whilst others were more grumpy. But all in all a good team.
Executive Lounge:
No Lounge at Moxy
Pool / Spa / Gym:
The hotel has a small but well equipped gym on the ground floor.
Social Media:
Social media seems to be unknown to this property. They do post and repost some things on Instagram and Facebook but no interaction at all.
Summary:
All in all a good and solid stay at the Moxy Rust.
Nice, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and good staff.

Should we come back for a fun trip to the Europa-Park Rust we would definitely stay here again and we can fully recommend it.
