The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport. It is nestled in the green in the middle of a golf course in a compound area.
There is nothing in the vicinity and you must use a car wherever you go.
Unfortunately there are no taxis by the Hotel as it is in a compound and you have to wait around 10-15 minutes until one from the outside is called in.

We went to Bangkok with the Hotel Car/Taxi in the afternoon. Please keep in mind that the Hotel is to far away from Bangkok and it took as almost 40 minutes to find a Taxi who drove us back. Needless to say that we gave up the discussion with the Taximeter.

The check in was fantastic. Friendly, open and interacting with the guests.
SPG / MR recognition was exactly according procedure and top.
Check out was efficient and friendly too.
The team at the front desk is really amazing.

The beautiful room we got was modern, comfortable and cosy. It was exactly the modern cosy Le Méridien feeling. Lots of natural light and an amazing big balcony. The hotel and the interior is almost brand new.
I really love colors, prints, style and furniture of Le Méridien.
The shower was a little lush as no pressure at all. You were more dropping yourself wet than showering.

As they have no Lounge we were offered 2 Free Drinks per person at the Hotel Bar. They had a nice little buffet set up with delicious snacks. This is a very nice gesture for Hotels without proper Lounge.

The Pool Area and the "restaurant/bar" attached is very nice. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

I would definitely recommend and rechoose the Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi if I have an overnight between 2 flights. If you would like to go and explore Bangkok it is to far out.
