General Info:
After the famous one night at the Marriott Hua Hin where we walked off, we came back to this beautiful property. We have stayed at the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas in 2016 so we sort of knew what we could expect.
The Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas is located around 30 minutes by car south of Hua Hin in Pranburi.
The area around the hotel has changed quite a bit. In 2016 there was basically nothing within walking distance and now you can find restaurants and bars by the sea promenade. This upgrades the area even further.
The Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas isn't an ordinary Sheraton Hotel. This property used to be a six senses hotel before it became a Sheraton hotel a few years back.
It is fully settled in the green. It seems to be a green jungle, an absolute oasis.
The hotel has no regular rooms at all. It consists of 53 super private Villas. The smallest villa has 248sqm, the biggest almost 400sqm. Every villa is hidden and you can't see anything from the outside.
Every single villa has its private pool in a private garden with lots of green, palm trees and a privat cabana.
The hotel isn't the newest anymore but the villas as well as the public areas are well maintained and they are doing currently some cosmetics.
The need of a full renovation will be coming up in big steps.
Still the hotel is absolutely amazing and an oasis to relax.
Check-in:
The check-in was simply amazing and we felt home from second one.
The check-in agent was super friendly, helpful and chatted with us during the whole process. The loyalty manager was also present and once the check-in was conducted, the loyalty manager accompanied us to our villa.
Check-out:
Check-out was absolutely phenomenal. The agent was super friendly, helpful and asked us if everything was ok. Also the Villa Manager (Resort Manager/Operations Manager) of the Pranburi Villas came to bid farewell and to make sure everything was o.k.

Staff at the front desk was always super friendly and helpful and they always took the time for a chat when you passed the front desk. There was always a smile in their face.

Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Recognition:
During check-in, the agent acknowledged our status, thanked for the loyalty and we were upgraded to a villa with two rooms.
This Sheraton Hotel has no lounge and there is no other compensation or Elite cocktails like in other properties in Asia.
As a welcome amenity we did choose the points, as breakfast was included in the rate.
The team prepared a fantastic welcome gift in our room together with a nice handwritten card.
All Elite Members get a 10% discount on regular F&B, as well as a 20% discount on a la carte spa treatments.
All in all still a fantastic recognition as Ambassador Elite Member.
Eligible nights and points:
To follow as soon as points and nights are posted. The review will be updated accordingly.
Concierge:
There is no real concierge desk at this property. The front desk or the bell boys take over that part and they do it great and with passion.
Both departments were always there to help
Also here the staff was fantastic.
Room / Suite:
The two (Bed)Room villa we were upgraded to was absolutely stunning.
First of all the villa and its private area was huge. We had a whopping 376sqm for ourselves.
One villa/building was a little bigger than the other one. This was our bedroom with a fantastic king-size bed, a huge couch, a massive shower, toilet and double vanity as well as a huge outdoor shower. There was also a huge outdoor bath tub right in front of the bedroom. The villas have a great atmosphere and you feel at home immediately.

The second room is actually a sort of living room with a massive couch (would be second bed) a desk, an own bathroom with shower, toilet and outdoor shower as well as a dining table.
The outdoor space is simply heaven, an own private retreat full of palm trees, a huge cabanna with couches and table, sunchairs and umbrella on the deck as well as a massive private pool. There are ponds everywhere and lots of green.

We loved this property already 6 years ago and we still love it.

The king size bed was amazing and super comfy. The mattress was top and so was the bedding. The duvet was super fluffy and the pillows were simply top and comfortable.

The aircondition worked perfectly fine in both Villas.

Bathroom:
The bathroom was simply great. Lots of space on the double vanity and the indoor shower was huge with a glass wall out in the green. There was also a massive outdoor shower if you preferred that one. The bathtub is outside as well and right in front of the bedroom.
Housekeeping:
Housekeeping did a fantastic great job. The room was cleaned properly and the bed was done astonishing perfect and impeccable.
The hotel also offers an impeccable turndown service.
Housekeeping staff was super friendly and greeted every time you passed them somewhere on the property.
The room was super clean as were the public areas.
WiFi:
WiFi workes perfectly fine throught the entire hotel and the speed is also good. No issues to work or up/download any data.
F&B outlets/ Lounge:
Dahla:
Dahla would be the main restaurant of the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas. It normally would offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Currently they only serve breakfast at this restaurant and it is still closed for lunch and dinner.
The breakfast buffet is very special at this property as it is in a separate room. It feels more like going on a market instead of going to a buffet.
There are different stations you can choose from. There is a bread and pastry station, fresh fruits and especially to mention a fresh salad station with local grown salad, dairy products, cereals, cold cuts, hot Asian dishes, hot Western dishes as well as a live egg cooking station.
The quality of food was excellent and everything was freshly prepared.
The staff at breakfast was phenomenal. They did an absolutely amazing job, were super friendly and interacted with the customers and showed real passion for what they do. They went the extra mile and were always a step ahead of you. Simply phenomenal.
Luna La Pran:
Luna La Pran is currently the main restaurant of the property. It is next to the beach as well as the pool. So it serves as bar as well.
We had several times lunch and dinner at Luna La Pran as well as several drinks.
The restaurant offers Thai food as well as international dishes.
We ate only Thai at Luna La Pran and the quality of the food was simply amazing. Everything super fresh and tasty.
Also here the staff was phenomenal. They did an amazing job, going above and beyond and delivered a great service. They were always super friendly, helpful and also took the time to interact with the customers.
Pool Bar / Events:
Luna La Pran also serves as the poolbar.
The hotel is very active in offering special or culinary events such as floating breakfast in your private pool, tea time in the afternoon, special private hot pot dinners on your terrace etc.
Executive Lounge:
No lounge.
Pool / Spa / Gym:
As every villa has a private pool, the communal pool of the hotel (with sea view) is almost empty all the time. The pool would be beautiful and we recommend not to lock yourself in all the time.
The gym is located next to the pool. It isn't really big and offers a basic set of cardio machines as well as some weightlifting. It is open 24 hours.
The Spa Villa is a beautiful idea. It is a regular hotel Villa changed into a spa.
We had fantastic treatments every day and can definitely recommend it. It was a bliss.
Prices are very reasonable here at the spa with some special offers as well. The therapists were amazing and knew very well what they did.
Social Media:
Social media seems to be inexistend to this property. Yes they do post things on Facebook and Instagram but no interaction at all. Compared with the other hotels in Thailand this is very strange.
Summary:
An absolutely great stay at the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas. We would have loved to stay longer.
Yes, the hardware isn't the newest one anymore but it is still in good shape and what counts more is the staff.
Staff is also here the biggest asset of this property. They are amazing and offer an exceptional customer service and go above and beyond.
The hotel is nestled in a green oasis and is the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
This hotel is a hidden pearl in the Marriott International portfolio. Should they finally start a full renovation, I will be sure, it will become the star within the Thailand properties.
We can highly recommend to stay at this property. Should we come back to the area we will definitely stay at the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas again.
