After two weeks back at this property again.

The hotel is located a little outside of Durban in the Umhlanga district.
There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel which can be visited safely by walking.
For longer distances like everywhere in South Africa you will need a rental car to move around.

The check in was perfect and super friendly. The agent was interacting and did a great job. Everything was done exactly according procedure. The staff did some small talk throughout the entire process of check in.

The Hotel strictly adhered to all Marriott Bonvoy procedures and all benefits received automatically.

Check out was on the same high level as check in. The staff at the front desk is amazing. All are always helpful and friendly and take the time to chat when walking by. Top customer care.

This hotel has one of the best Front desk teams I have seen in a long time.

The entire hotel has been renovated recently and you can see it everywhere. The Theme they have chosen is beach / surfing.
The Executive Suite we received was beautiful. It is held in blueish colours with lots of wood. The room felt super comfy and the huge window was amazing. In addition this room has its own balcony with a great view over the park right next to the hotel.

The bar has a great atmosphere and super friendly and efficient staff.
Furniture is not always adequate for a bar. Rocks as a table want work as you can't place a glass on them.
The snacks we tried for dinner were good and tasty.

Breakfast is served in the Restaurant on the first floor. It was simply amazing. The choice and quality of food is great. The presentation is done with love and the staff is top.
What we liked most, all egg dishes are prepared fresh for each guest, including scrambled eggs. The waiting staff does their job with passion and pride, they are super welcoming and friendly.

Both stays and every day the team at breakfast delivered an amazing service. They have an awesome consistency in customer service.

This time we had the time to try the pool for a little longer. The pool is rather small in size but ok for a city property.

They offer a great service and there is always staff from the Bar checking on any needs.

All in all a fantastic stay at this hotel.

All the staff is simply amazing and does an outstanding job in providing excellent customer service.
The property is brand new and beautiful.
We would fully recommend this property.
