The Hotel is located at the Barcelona Fira district. if you would like to visit downtown (the Rambla area) you can take the metro which takes around 20 minutes and the station is located a few steps from the hotel. If you take a taxi it costs around 20€ depending on the traffic. (Range from 15-25€ possible)
Around the Hotel there is a neighborhood area with a big shopping center around 700meters away. Bars and restaurants are available too.


We did like to stroll around the Hotel as it is not touristy at all.

The hotel is already special in itself as it has an atrium over all floors with palmtrees and greens. It is open and airy.

The check in was good and friendly. The agent interacted with the guests and was helpful. We were upgraded to an executive suite and could choose from the benefits.
No recognition from the agent about the Marriott Bonvoy status.
Check out was ok too with nice interaction from the agent.

The navigator (concierge) was super helpful and always present in the lobby and even helping as a bellboy.

The suite was really nice. Lots and lots of windows and a fantastic balcony with own sunchairs and palms. The room was comfortable and has a great atmosphere.
The Interior is white and light as well as timeless with some modern accents.
I really liked the room a lot.
However for an executive suite it was super small with 28sqm and there was no seating possiblity aside from one chair.

The staff at the pool / rooftop bar were friendly and interacted with the customers. All of them were outgoing and the different drinks we had were delicious.
The bar with its location has a lot of potential even for outsiders to become a popular spot. What I don't understand is that they close the bar at 8 pm.

Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the 14th floor. The buffet was simply amazing and the quality and quantity was top. The buffet was always refilled and you could choose any hot egg item at the hot eggs station.
The staff at the restaurant for breakfast was simply amazing and top. All 3 days they offered an exceptional and outstanding service. They were smiling, interacting with the guests and you could see they work as a team.

The indoor pool and gym is located at the 26th floor. The indoor pool is nice but small and the gym has all equipment needed.
A big plus is the rooftop pool. It is really nice and has a great view. Unfortunately most of the sunbeds are broken.

They were short of receiving the 5th sheep and I would like to explain why they didn't get it:
The little extra and personal touch was missing. For example:

  • no refill of the water bottles in the room.
  • Housekeeping opening the room door without knocking and the do not disturb outside.
  • Out of 3 nights, 2 times we could a tie down service, once it was forgotten (no, we didn't have the do not disturb placard out).
  • Most of the sunbeds backrest are broken.
  • Customer Service differences. The staff at the restaurant was amazing,Β  some Front office okay and Pool bar they were good.

All in all we received an absolutely great service well worth the money we did spend. I would definitely recommend this hotel and should I revisit Barcelona I will definitely reconsider this property.
