General Info:
The hotel is located almost next to the Stockholm Central Train Station and so it is a very convenient downtown location.
It is actually the only full Marriott Bonvoy property downtown.
Within a 10 minutes walk you can easily reach the old town. For a touristy weekend the perfect spot.

The Hotel itself has 8 floors with a total of 436 rooms and 29 suites.

Check-in:

The check-in wasnt anything ordinary. The agent was rather cold and not really interacting. You felt more disturbing them instead of being welcome. Everything was done without passion and in a robotic style.
No information about the property (lounge, benefits etc) or any other useful tips.
Check-out:
Check-out was the same way as check in. Cold, unwelcome and robot style.
When I got asked how my stay was, I told them it was one of the worst Sheratons I have been. The agent took up the inputs but that is about it.
Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Recognition:
During check-in, there was just a thanks for being an Ambassador Elite Member.
As my reservation had Breakfast included, I could choose between an amenity gift or 1000 points. I went for the points. That was about it.
No question about a late check-out and absolutely no peep about an upgrade.
As I checked the app prior entering the hotel and I saw that all possible rooms and suites were available, I did ask myself for an upgrade. And voila... Oh yes, we have a junior suite available. The agent at check-in was so bored, stoic and had a petrified face. No movements, nothing.
When are Hotels finally learning that following the T&C's of Marriott Bonvoy is part of the game?
Once in the room, room service brought up a nice handwritten note with some sort of snacks and 2 bottles of beer. That was a real surprise as I completely did not expected it.
Eligible nights and points.
The eligible nights as well as the points posted on my account within 24 hours after our stay. This again is awesome and some other properties could learn from.
Concierge:
To get to the "what this Sheraton calls" Lounge you have to pass 2 meters away from the concierge desk. They would never look up or greet you when walking by.
On Saturday morning at 9:35 we left the hotel to stroll around the city. I wanted to verify with the concierge if it would be already possible to make a sightseeing tour by boat. The desk was unmanned so I went to the reception. They told me that the concierge would start around 10 to 11AM and I should come back.
No concierge on a saturday morning at 9:30? Seriously???
Room / Suite:
The junior suite is fantastic in size and bigger as some executive suites at other properties.
The interior looks modern and gives a great atmosphere. It hasn't got the nordic warm touch like other hotel chains have but it is still nice. You can see that the rooms were renovated recently as some parts in the room look good and others are redone terribly bad.
The bed was as so so story. Unfortunately on one side the mattress was worn out whilst on the other side it was okay and comfy.
Also the pillows and duvet have seen better times and they were worn out too.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is rather on the small side for a suite. Thanks to the renovation you have 4 different tiles in that bathroom which makes it look patched up.
The shower again has the most common design mistake. The Glas shower partition wall is only
10cm longer than the rainshower head. Which means you can't really shower without putting the bathroom under water. During the renovation no screw anchors were used and the shower head comes out of the wall. This is something house keeping should detect and inform maintenance.
Housekeeping:
Housekeeping is okay. The rooms are cleaned daily or better said the beds are done daily.
In our room there were orange peels under the couch from previous guests. Otherwise the room was clean and tidy.
F&B outlets/ Lounge:
Bar 360
Bar 360 is the hotel bar in the lobby. It is very pleasant design wise, as it has huge and lots of ceiling to floor windows where you can look outside and watch the hustle and bustle on the street.
Drinks were good and staff at the bar was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary or the most friendly ones but from all the F&B the most pleasant ones.
Brasserie 360
Brasserie 360 is the main and only restaurant at this property. So they serve breakfast lunch and dinner.
Breakfast was a huge huge disappointment and it is far away from a great Sheraton breakfast and even further away from a nordic Radisson Hotel breakfast.
The buffet would be okay in size and choice. What makes is so disappointing is the lack of love, no attention to detail and the filthiyness of the room.
Let me explain you the lack of love and no attention for details.
Plates, cups and dishes are pilled up like in a canteen for hundreds of staff. All in different sizes and shapes. Pots with hot items are not labeled, you have to open each and every lid to see what is inside. Butter is at one end of the room together with bread, whilst jam on the other end of the room with hot items. Ladles and lids are super dirty and filthy but no one cares. On the first day the so called scrambled eggs they offered was more a disgusting unrecognizable sort of soup, having nothing to do with scrambled eggs.
3 chefs standing around and playing with their mobile phone instead of putting up or offering hot egg dishes. I asked for an omelet the first day and they don't do that.
Let me explain you the filthyness.
Lids and ladles are super dirty. The coffee machines would need an urgent cleaning and decalcification. Milk and coffee splashes all around and the whole area is dirty. No one cleans and stains on the walls are definitely much older than just from the day. The clean up station in the middle of the restaurant looks like a recycling station for animal food. The floor is full of ort and leftovers. Cups and plates just piling up and everyone can see it. Sorry to say really discusting.

The whole breakfast hast the charm of an old dirty train station canteen.

I know my point of view is harsh but this is definitely not Sheraton Style and definitely not Marriott International. I have pictures taken of all the above just as a proof.

The staff at breakfast is actually not worth to mention. They are robots clearing the tables without interaction or even greeting the customers.

Executive Lounge:
Oh another F&B disaster at this property. They have put some tables, chairs and two couches in an old meeting room and call it now a lounge. No windows, dark and unpleasant.
Coffee / tea and softdrinks are available the entire day. Well if they would stock up the lounge. Coffee pads except for decaf were always missing. No one is responsible for the lounge, tables aren't cleaned for hours and no one is restocking the drinks.
From 16:30 until 19:30 would be their happy hour in the lounge. As the lounge is not manned, you have to go to the bar and get your alcoholic drinks. 2 drinks per person are free of charge. As snacks only some popcorn, chips and nuts are served in the lounge. As no one is informing you how the snacks topic works in the lounge and as they haven't put an info about it, we found out on the second night, that if you want some snacks you have to order it at the bar as well. Hell should I be able to read glassballs? It really leaves the taste that the hotel does everything but really everything to reduce the costs.
Pool / Spa:
Even considering the size of the hotel there is no pool.
The hotel has a gym available on the 1sr floor for its guests. Attached to the gym is a quite pricey spa.
Summary:
The only positive was the size of the junior suite.
F&B is a huge disaster and so is the staff! Cold, unfriendly and far far away from a nice hospitality feeling.
Hardware would have the potential but software is the problem.
Compared to previous stays at Radisson Hotels and also Scandic Hotels the Sheraton Stockholm in my opinion is more of a 2 star hotel.
This hotel is a disgrace for any other Sheraton Hotels & Resorts property.

Would I recommend or rechoose this property? No I would not. I would rather go in a Design Hotel where I don't get all the Bonvoy perks or I would even consider a Radisson property before returning.
