The hotel is located in Zurich Oerlikon which again is a 10 minutes train ride away from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown.
The property is surrounded by shops and residential buildings. You can reach everything in Zurich Oerlikon by foot and public transport (bus) is right in front of the hotel. The train station is only a 2 minutes walk away.
The check in was good and friendly. The agent was chit chatting a little bit.
No Marriott Bonvoy recognition from the agent at check-in but all benefits received.

The entire hotel has been renovated a few years ago and maintenance as well as house keeping is doing a great job. The property still looks good, fresh and well maintained.
The main colours used in public areas are blue, yellow and grey. The lobby and all public areas look young and warm with an industrial feeling look.
Thanks to our status the hotel upgraded us pre arrival into a junior suite. The room was at the top floor of the hotel. The junior suite is a two room suite. One room with a nice and modern living room and the other room with the bed and bathroom. Both rooms have big windows with a lot of natural light.
The suite felt comfortable and homey. Main colors used in the rooms are mainly beige, green and plum. The interior is stylish classic and with a modern twist and bright colors.

The bathroom itself is timeless. Unfortunately the shower isn't that good. There is only a hand shower installed and if your are taller than 175cm it is almost impossible to shower. The shower hose is to short and if you place the hand shower in the clamping system it turns around to the side. At least the water pressure is good.

The housekeeping and cleaning staff does a great job. The cleanliness was top notch. I have felt a 100% secure in this current situation staying at this property.

The K&B bar and restaurant in the lobby has a great atmosphere with super friendly, hearty and efficient staff.
We had dinner and a few drinks at the K&B bar and restaurant. The food was delicious and super tasty. In summer you can enjoy a big terrace right outside.
Breakfast is served at the same restaurant and it is served as a buffet. The choice and quality of food is good and completely sufficient. The buffet consist of fruits, cold cuts, cereals, different bread and Danish as well as some hot items. Staff actively offers other hot dishes such as omelets etc.
For a covid time it was great.
The staff at breakfast is simply wow and they offer a stunning customer service with a hearty mentality.
As a Courtyard by Marriott the hotel has no lounge and no pool and spa. There is a nice little gym on the first floor with a great variety of equipment.
The hotel is active on social media with posts and likes mostly on Facebook but only little interaction with followers and content creators.
All in all a great stay at this hotel.
The property is in very good shape and feels nice and homey.
The biggest asset of the Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North is their staff. We haven't met a single person which is not going the extra mile. Everyone does their job with passion and pride and is delivering a top notch customer service.
We enjoyed our 1 night staycation and we could definitely recommend this hotel.
