The hotel is located at the Suisse Riviera in Montreux. Right next to the lake of geneva.
The train station is right across the street and local transport in all directions is just in front of the house. The location for public transport users is top. That said, if you arrive by car there is no own parking of the hotel. Not even a curbside. A public car park is only a few meters away. Easy to reach but the prices are rather high.
As the Hotel is located in the middle of Montreux, there are many restaurants and shops around the hotel and easy to reach.
The lake boardwalk is only across the street.
The check in was good and friendly but nothing special. The agent was super quiet and no small talk or questions.
No Marriott Bonvoy recognition from the agent at check-in.
Check out was okay but nothing special either.

The entire hotel has been renovated recently and you can see it everywhere. From the outside the building looks like an old grand lady but the inside is fresh, young and stylish. The theme they choose is adapted to the riviera. The main colours used are blue / green. The lobby and all public areas look beautiful and gives you a warm feeling of beach, water and sun.

Thanks to our status the hotel upgraded us pre arrival into an executive junior suite. The room was at the top floor of the hotel. When you enter the room at first it feels rather small. Once you open the curtains and you see this huge panoramic window with a stunning view over the lake and the mountains, everything changes. Everything opens up and becomes more airy.
The suite felt super comfortable and homey. The huge panoramic window was amazing and the balcony was top. The interior is stylish classic and what I loved most was the wooden floor.

The housekeeping and cleaning staff does an excellent job. The cleanliness was top notch. The room was always cleaned to perfection. You couldn't find a single grain of dust. I have felt a 100% secure in this current situation staying at this property.

The 45 bar in the lobby has a great atmosphere with friendly and efficient staff. Minimal interaction with guests. The drinks were top. No snacks (despite cheese and sweets) served until 6:30 PM because the kitchen is closed.
We had twice dinner at the 45 Grill and Health restaurant. The food was simply amazing. Fresh and local ingredients with a great view over the lake. Prices are okay compared with other restaurants.
Staff was friendly and efficient but super reserved and cold. No interaction with guests.
Breakfast is served at the restaurant. The first day we got it served on a tray as the occupancy was rather low. The other days it was served as buffet. The choice and quality of food is great. Hot items could be ordered.
For a covid time it was great.
The staff at breakfast is simply amazing. Especially the lady we had the first days was wow... Absolut stunning customer service with a hearty mentality. She does her job with passion and pride.
Both restaurant and bar would have an amazing terrace with a stunning view over the lake and mountains. The terrace must be amazing in summer.
The hotel has no lounge for elite members and does not give out any other recognition for status customers.
Social media interaction inexistent.
All in all a great stay at this hotel.
The property is brand new and beautiful. The hardware is simply said top.
The software could be worked on. Management staff we met (front office manager, F&B manager) are great and interact with customers. Regular staff (except breakfast) do a great job profession wise but there is no interaction with staff and no passion. Waiters are amazingly trained but they have no passion and no connection to customers. Front office is a rollercoaster. Either top or flop. One agent was super arrogant and unfriendly.
Never the less we enjoyed our stay and we could definitely recommend the hotel.
